- Oscar Schoots, PhD, MBA, has a background in medical biology and business. As of 2002, he has been working for Universiteit Utrecht Holding BV
and UMC Utrecht Holding BV
, co-founders of Cavadis. His responsibilities include the patent portfolio and technology transfer activities from Utrecht University and the University Medical Centre Utrecht. Oscar was actively involved in the incorporation of more then ten spin-off companies from these institutes and currently serves as a member of the Supervisory Boards for three such companies.
- Harm de Vries is partner at the Erasmus MC Biomedical Fund
. Harm has worked for over 9 years in the biotechnology venture capital industry and has gained extensive experience in structuring, establishing, and monitoring venture capital transactions. Harm started his career as an attorney at law at an international law firm in Amsterdam and was admitted to the Amsterdam bar association in 1995. Harm holds a masters degree in business law from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
